The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado Anschutz is looking for an entry-level research services professional to join our lab (diaslab.org). The identified applicant will be responsible for managing human cell culture lines and conducting basic molecular biology experiments, such as DNA, RNA, and protein analysis, under the supervision of Dr. Dias and more senior laboratory members. The goal of the research project broadly is to better understand essential mechanisms underlying the disorder Fragile X-associated tremor/ataxia syndrome, a neurodegenerative disorder associated with cognitive decline, psychiatric co-morbidities, and tremor and ataxia.
