Design and conduct experimental research and investigations to explore the function, formation, and structure of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), ribonucleic acid (RNA), and cellular protein synthesis. Participate in activities such as next generation sequencing (NGS), protein purification, gene expression, polymerase chain reaction (PCR), DNA cloning, transformations, and transfections. Record, interpret, and analyze study data. Develop research documentation, such as protocols, reports, reviews, publications, manuscripts, and/or summaries.
