Primary Purpose:
Develops, validates/verifies, and implements new FISH-based clinical and research laboratory assays. Works under the oversight of the Medical Directorship and reports directly to the R&I Manager. Clinical FISH experience (destained metaphase cell preparations, formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections) with CG(ASCP) certification and/or MB(ASCP) certification is strongly preferred. Primer design, RT-PCR, Sanger sequencing experience is also a big plus.
