The Functional Biomechanics Laboratory (PI: Dr. Anne Silverman) at the Colorado School of Mines is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Scholar to engage in research in the areas of advanced muscle modeling, neuromuscular function, and movement biomechanics. The Functional Biomechanics Laboratory characterizes human whole-body movement with a strong focus in musculoskeletal modeling. Our research uses experimental and computational approaches to understand fundamental mechanisms of movement to improve mobility, guide clinical intervention, prevent injury, and optimize performance for every individual.
