First responders across the nation are headed to Maui as brutal wildfires continue to burn out of control, ravaging the small Hawaiian island. Emergency crews will assist in trying to help get the fires under control and in recovery efforts. While the acute effects of the tragedy are the prime concern in the short term, experts say psychological effects could persist in the long term for both survivors and emergency personnel.
